What information is collected on this web site?
Only minimal information is gathered for the purpose of usage statistics (i.e. what pages are being used, what invalid pages are people trying to access).
No cookies or other tracking information is used.
Some of this information may be used to generate a call list (i.e. if the source address, or the referrer address, is a company name the name may be given to a sales representative for further analysis and possibly a phone call to follow up on the visit).
What personal information is collected by TOTAL?
Other than the information required by law to be collected, TOTAL only collects the information required to perform a requested service.
Sharing of personal information.
TOTAL does not share your personal information with other parties, except where required by law, with out your consent. Consent is deemed given if it is in the course of performing the requested services.
Protection of personal information.
Any paper based records are kept in secured filing cabinets with limited access (i.e. Driver records are kept by the General Manager, financial/payroll records are kept by the Accounts Payable personnel).
Online systems are secured via user passwords and the servers kept in a locked room with limited access.
Online systems were designed with privacy & security in mind so only that which is required is available to the individual accessing the system. In the case of third parties accessing our system, an “Electronic Access Agreement” is required.
